Submission Preparation Checklist

As part of the submission process, authors are required to check off their submission's compliance with all of the following items, and submissions may be returned to authors that do not adhere to these guidelines.
  • The submission has not been previously published, nor is it before another journal for consideration (or an explanation has been provided in Comments to the Editor).
  • The submission file is in OpenOffice, Microsoft Word, RTF, or WordPerfect document file format.
  • Where available, URLs for the references have been provided.
  • The text is single-spaced; uses a 12-point font; employs italics, rather than underlining (except with URL addresses); and all illustrations, figures, and tables are placed within the text at the appropriate points, rather than at the end.
  • The text adheres to the stylistic and bibliographic requirements outlined in the Author Guidelines, which is found in About the Journal.
  • If submitting to a peer-reviewed section of the journal, the instructions in Ensuring a Blind Reviewhave been followed.

Author Guidelines

ALTEK Journal is an online academic journal that adheres to rigorous peer-review standards and welcomes contributions from established and emerging scholars worldwide. The journal invites high-quality original research articles covering various aspects of information technology and related fields.

  • Authors should prepare their manuscripts using the official ALTEK Journal template and submit them through the journal's online submission system via the submission link. Only manuscripts that comply with the journal's formatting and submission requirements will be forwarded to the peer-review process.
  • Manuscripts must be written in English.
  • Submitted manuscripts must be original works that have not been previously published and are not currently under review by another journal or publication.
  • All submitted manuscripts will be reviewed by qualified experts in the relevant field. The review process considers the originality, clarity of presentation, methodological quality, scientific significance, and relevance of the research.
  • As part of its commitment to timely publication, the editorial team strives to complete the review process within approximately four weeks. If authors do not receive any notification after this period, they are encouraged to contact the editorial team by email.
  • ALTEK Journal is a fully open-access journal that provides publication services free of charge. The journal does not charge any article processing charges (APCs), submission fees, review fees, or publication fees. Authors are not required to make any payment at any stage of the manuscript submission, peer-review, or publication process.
  • ALTEK Journal is committed to providing free and immediate access to all published scholarly content. Readers can access, read, and download published articles free of charge for academic, educational, and research purposes.
  • All articles published by ALTEK Journal are freely available online immediately upon publication. Non-commercial use and distribution in any medium are permitted, provided that the original author(s) and the journal are properly acknowledged and credited.
  • The benefits of open access for authors include:
